Wire Bending Pliers
Various types of pliers are available for the very different wire deformations. Closing Loop Pliers and Torquing Pliers are designed for placing first, second and third order bends and Loop Pliers, Bird Beak or Jarabak Pliers are used for the bending of different loops. De La Rosa Pliers are perfect for the contouring of arch wires and the Hammerhead Plier bends the distal end of an arch wire protruding past the buccal tube toward the gingival margin. Aderer / Three-Prong Plier designed for appliance fabrication and many other wire bending methods is a standard plier which is needed in any orthodontic practice.
